Here’s your opportunity to explore the world of corporate philanthropy by speaking directly with leading executives!
This session will help you gain a better understanding of the motivations for corporate giving; the differences between a direct corporate giving program and a company-sponsored foundation (and how that should influence your approach); the different pathways to creating partnerships with companies; how to match your organization's needs with the interests of a corporation; and how to use the Foundation Center's resources and research tools to identify corporate prospects.
Presenters will include:
- Barry Doggett - Senior Vice President, Public and Community Affairs, Eaton
- Merle Gordon - Director, Community Programs and Public Affairs, HealthSpan
- Benjamin Kroeck - Philanthropy Coordinator, The Dominion Foundation
- Carrie Miller - Regional Training Coordinator, The Foundation Center
- Others to be named
