This is an American Heart Association (AHA) CPR course for healthcare providers such as first responders, nurses, EMTs, firefighters, police officers, dental professionals and healthcare students. Topics covered include: infant, child and adult CPR, choking emergencies, and use of the AED. Textbook is required: Basic Life Support Manual (2020 edition). It can be purchased from the Lakeland Bookstore or buy from an online vendor. Electronic cards (e-cards) will be e-mailed within one week of class to each student, valid for two years.
