Course Description


The Fall Western Reserve Writers Conference and Workshop

This conference has been 32 years in helping writers write and get published!

Saturday, September 26, 2015

Join us for a full-day conference for novice and professional writers. A variety of topics will include: short stories, copyright tips, marketing with a book trailer, flash fiction, picture books, screenplay writing, nonfiction vs. fiction, the elements of storytelling, the art of the interview, and secrets to success. Attendees may choose between three different sessions each hour.

The keynote speaker will be author and journalist, Mike Olszewski. As the conference gets underway, there will be a book sale, author signings, and prearranged editing consults. The day will finish up with a Q & A panel hosted by the presenters and a networking reception with refreshments.

CONFERENCE DETAILS

All-day Conference fee - $125
Walk-ins are welcome but lunch will not be available.
The deadline for the conference to include lunch is September 18.

***EARLY BIRD SPECIAL***

Register by September 18 and pay just $105, lunch included. The Early Bird fee will adjust when checking out.

(Registrations will be accepted after September 19 for the regular fee of $125, but lunch will not be available)


EDITING SESSIONS :
If you are interested in a private editing session for an additional $15 fee, call the registration office at 440-525-7116 for details. On conference day, writers will meet with their editor at a scheduled time to discuss their work in a private one-on-one consultation. Aspects covered will include grammar, punctuation, word usage and content. Editors will also answer any questions of concern. Register for your session as soon as possible - just twelve spaces available.
