Course Description


This course focuses on how advances in neuroscience provide a greater and more accurate understanding of substance use disorders and addictions and their underlying vulnerabilities including mental health conditions. Learn the basic principles of neuroscience, the neuroscience of mental health conditions and addiction and reward, and how interpersonal neurobiology contributes to provide more effective substance abuse disorder treatment. (3 Hours) Intructor: Brando Tupaz, PCC-S. Early-bird deadline to save $10: Aug. 13. Provides continuing education for counselors, nurses and social workers.

You will be refunded the course fee minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds or transfers are allowed without at least four business days’ notice.
