The United States Department of Labor (USDOL), Wage and Hour Division (WHD) is responsible for enforcement of a number of Federal labor laws, which includes the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Every day investigators from the USDOL WHD conduct investigations of businesses to determine compliance with the Federal labor standards. This in-depth workshop provides an opportunity to gain insight into unique situations that employers face when administering FMLA. The workshop is presented by the investigators who actually conduct the investigations. Topics include complex issues that are frequently referred to the USDOL WHD, real-life scenarios and matters of significance that HR professionals and other participants in the seminar have requested.
