Course Description

This course will be held on WebEx remotely. A link will be sent to you by e-mail before class. Supervision may be the highest calling. It involves the sharing of knowledge, skills and experience in addition to mentoring, gatekeeping, monitoring and evaluating. Whether a student or employee, the supervisory relationship can make or break a student’s education and training or an employee’s performance. The purpose of this course is to provide a framework of high-quality supervision in the human services field. We will cover evidence-based and competence-based models of supervision, and application to common supervisory situations and dilemmas will be covered as well. Save $10 on this course by registering by the Early bird deadline: July 7. Instructor: Brando Tupaz, PCC-S. Provides three supervisory hours for counselors and social workers. Provides three general hours for nurses.


CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to withdraw or transfer from this class, you must notify the Continuing Education office by telephone at 440.525.7116 four or more business days (Monday through Friday) prior to the class date. You will be refunded the course fee minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds or transfers are allowed without at least four business days’ notice. In most cases, you may substitute someone else to take your place with no processing fee.
