Send your child to college for the summer! The College for Kids program offers your child an exciting, fun-filled and educational summer with hands-on learning and exploration activities that are being planned in the areas of music, art, math, science, sign language, physical education, citizenship and creative writing. Instructors are certified teachers or experts in their field. We maintain a 15:1 student to staff ratio. Camp fee includes lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, field trips, supplies and before- and after-care. Spend your day with the peace of mind that your child is in a fun, safe and exciting camp! Additional details and instructions will be sent upon registration. Full payment is due at time of registration. Fee includes a $100 processing fee that is nonrefundable after May 1, 2018. Camps are operated in a supervised environment of 1 instructor to 15 students. In addition to the unique requirements for specific camps, all camp participants are expected to engage in group and independent hands-on/active learning opportunities in a manner that demonstrates their willingness and ability to follow directions, behave appropriately, share and respect others, and explore new ideas. A parent or guardian who believes their child has limitations that may affect his/her ability to participate in the manner and with the level of supervision described above should contact Nan Mayer at nmayer@lakelandcc.edu to arrange a time to discuss the need for and availability of reasonable accommodations for a specific camp. All participants will receive a T-shirt. Specify your T-shirt size when registering. No camp on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. On August 3, 2018, afternoon pick-up must be made no later than 1 p.m. The deadline for registering for the full 8-weeks is June 4, 2018. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding our camp. Call 440.525.7536 or email collegeforkids@lakelandcc.edu.
