Course Description

This course will be held virtually on WebEx. A link will be sent to you before class. The course is for you to become a certified dental assistant radiographer, and is approved by The Ohio State Dental Board. Topics covered: radiologic theory and technique, history and development of X-ray, safety precautions and uses of X-rays in dentistry, and darkroom-processing techniques and mounting. NOTE: This course has a clinical radiology component. Participants have 60 days after the course to complete radiographic examinations with a dentist of their choice.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to withdraw or transfer from this class, you must notify the Continuing Education office by telephone at 440.525.7116 four or more business days (Monday through Friday) prior to the class date. You will be refunded the course fee minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds or transfers are allowed without at least four business days’ notice. In most cases, you may substitute someone else to take your place with no processing fee.
