Course Description


In a hostile work environment, often clients will deal with repeated incidents or a pattern of behaviour that is intended to intimidate, offend, degrade or humiliate a particular person or group of people. It has also been described as the assertion of power through aggression. Learn to help your clients who are dealing with bullies and hostile work environments. Learn some statistics, how to recognize bullying, and how to handle the bullying and come out victorious. (3 Hours) Early-bird deadline: May 11. Instructor: Kristen Kuhlman, LSW, LNHA. Provides continuing education hours for nursing home administrators (BELTSS), counselors, social workers, and nurses.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to withdraw or transfer from this class, you must notify the Continuing Education office by telephone at 440.525.7116 four or more business days (Monday through Friday) prior to the class date. You will be refunded the course fee minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds or transfers are allowed without at least four business days’ notice. In most cases, you may substitute someone else to take your place with no processing fee.
