Course Description

ServSafe is a nationally recognized and accredited program for all levels of food service professions. This course focuses on reducing common risk factors to food-borne illnesses such as: poor personal hygiene; cross-contamination; time/temperature abuse; unapproved sources; and contaminated equipment. A ServSafe certificate is valid for five years. In addition, successfully passing meets the Ohio Department of Health's Level Two certification. Course fee includes entire course, book (7th edition) and test. Certified dietary managers can receive 15 hours of continuing education through ANFP.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to withdraw or transfer from this class, you must notify the Continuing Education office by telephone at 440.525.7116 four or more business days (Monday through Friday) prior to the class date. You will be refunded the course fee minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds or transfers are allowed without at least four business days’ notice. In most cases, you may substitute someone else to take your place with no processing fee.
