This course will cover balancing confidential client conversations with those who are under the age of 18 with the requests of their parents. Does the fact that parents and guardians have access to the notes in your file make you apprehensive? Learn about the expectations, how to identify what is "need to know" versus "demand to know" information for parents, while protecting the privacy of minor clients and following the laws and regulations. (3 Hours) Save $10 on this course, register by the early-bird deadline Oct. 12. Provides ethics hours for counselors and and social workers. You will be refunded the course fee minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds or transfers are allowed without at least four business days’ notice.
